FP1 HIGHLIGHTS: Watch as the F1 cars hit the Mugello track for the first time this weekend
Formula is stepping into the unknown this weekend as Mugello hosts a Grand Prix for the first time in its history.
The stunning Italian track – which is owned by Ferrari – gets the honour of hosting the Scuderia's 1000th Grand Prix, and ahead of that incredible milestone, Charles Leclerc was third quickest for the team in the first practice session of the weekend.
Ahead of the 22-year-old, Valtteri Bottas was fastest for Mercedes, with Red Bull's Max Verstappen just 0.048s off the Finn's best time.
