FP1 HIGHLIGHTS: Watch the best of the action from the opening session of the Spanish GP weekend
The Formula 1 cars took to the track for the first time at Barcelona since pre-season testing on Friday morning, in the first free practice session for the Spanish Grand Prix.
Valtteri Bottas once again topped the time sheets as the drivers got their first runs of the weekend under their belts at the Circuit de Barcelona-Catalunya, just ahead of his Mercedes team mate Lewis Hamilton, with Red Bull's Max Verstappen behind the two Silver Arrows.
The two Ferraris werre fourth and fifth quickest, with a new chassis for Sebastian Vettel apparently more to his liking, as he was just 0.011s off his team mate Charles Leclerc.
