FP2 HIGHLIGHTS: All the key moments from second practice ahead of the Spanish GP
After their first defeat of the season in the 70th Anniversary Grand Prix at Silverstone last weekend, Mercedes came flying out of the traps at Barcelona in practice for this Sunday's Spanish Grand Prix.
Valtteri Bottas topped the time sheets in the first session on Friday morning, while team mate Lewis Hamilton took top spot in FP2 in the afternoon, with Red Bull's Max Verstappen third in both sessions.
FP2 REPORT: Hamilton heads Bottas in Spain as Grosjean confirms Haas pace with P5
Perhaps more surprisingly, Romain Grosjean showed some impressive pace for Haas, posting the sixth quickest time in FP1 and then going one better in FP2 for the struggling American team.
