HIGHLIGHTS: Catch up on all the action from qualifying in Qatar
The super-tight fight for the world championship moved to Qatar this weekend for the first ever Grand Prix at the Losail International Circuit, and in qualifying it was Lewis Hamilton who came out on top after taking a sensational pole position under the lights.
The Mercedes man was on top form, going quickest in both Q1 and Q2 before the all-important top 10 shoot-out for pole. And once again he hooked up his lap to take P1 on the grid for Sunday's race, with his title rival Max Verstappen lining up second.
