Lewis Hamilton has got his mojo back. Last year was a chastening experience for the 41-year-old as he struggled to get comfortable in his new surroundings at Ferrari after more than a decade with Mercedes, where he won six of his seven World Championships.
There were some who questioned whether the Briton, who has accumulated 105 wins, 203 podiums and 104 pole positions in a glittering career that began in 2007, had still got it. Perhaps in the most difficult times, Hamilton may have asked the same question of himself – but he never gave up.
"I mean I would say when you have difficult years, there are lots of questions all over the place," says Hamilton, who has won just twice in the last four seasons, when we had an exclusive chat in Suzuka.
