"This is the beginning of something big."
Those were the words of Mario Andretti, one of only two Americans to win the Formula 1 world title, when discussing Cadillac – F1's newest team.
Andretti will know a thing or two about what it takes to succeed in Formula 1. The 86-year-old accumulated 128 Grand Prix starts across 14 campaigns and won 12 races, took 19 podiums and scored 18 pole positions – plus the World Championship in 1978 – while racing for the likes of Lotus, March, Ferrari, Parnelli, Alfa Romeo and Williams.
