Doriane Pin has been crowned the 2025 F1 ACADEMY champion after finishing fifth in the season finale in Las Vegas, as Chloe Chambers won her second race of the campaign with a dominant drive ahead of Alisha Palmowski and Pin's title rival Maya Weug.
Racing on home soil, Chambers led every lap of Race 2 to convert her pole position to victory as she avoided close battles further down the field, rounding off her two years in F1 ACADEMY in style.
While Mercedes-backed Pin did not finish on the podium, P5 was enough for her to outscore Weug in the Standings and be crowned champion at the dazzling street circuit.
The race got off to a clean start and the top five remained as they were for the opening few laps despite plenty of overtake attempts, but things took a turn when Joanne Ciconte and Wild Card entry Payton Westcott collided, leaving their cars stranded on the track.
They were recovered during a Safety Car period that bunched up the field, leaving Chambers to control the restart. While she timed it to perfection, Alba Larsen lost out to both Pin and Weug and she was quickly demoted to P5.
The Ferrari driver was far from done as she boldly passed her title rival around the outside, improving to P3 before she lined up a challenge on Red Bull Racing’s Palmowski. Weug momentarily snuck past, but Palmowski surged back through to retain second place.
Their battle allowed Pin and Larsen to get stuck in, and the Tommy Hilfiger driver beat Pin to fourth position on the closing laps. McLaren driver Ella Lloyd crossed the line in P6 ahead of Nina Gademan and Tina Hausmann, with Rafaela Ferreira and Aurelia Nobels taking the final points of the season.
