F1 ACADEMY: Pulling seals sixth victory with lights-to-flag showing on Singapore streets

Alpine’s Abbi Pulling put together another faultless drive to deliver her sixth victory of the 2024 F1 ACADEMY season and strengthen her hold on the top of the Drivers’ Standings.
The Briton aced her getaway off the line and showed no signs of slowing down, taking the chequered flag over two seconds clear.

Ferrari driver Maya Weug secured her fifth podium of the campaign and headed a double podium for PREMA Racing. Team mate Doriane Pin dug deep with a late fastest lap to hold on to third ahead of Williams’ Lia Block after receiving a five-second penalty for a false start.
The race was shortened to 11 laps due to McLaren’s Bianca Bustamante causing an aborted start after rolling over her grid box, for which she received a 10-second stop/go penalty.
Chloe Chambers brought her Haas-liveried car home in fifth ahead of Hamda Al Qubaisi, Tommy Hilfiger driver Nerea Martí and Carrie Schreiner for Kick Sauber.
Ella Lloyd achieved points on her F1 ACADEMY debut, with the Singapore Wild Card driver dropping from sixth to ninth after receiving a five-second penalty for a false start, whilst Tina Hausmann completed the top 10 for Aston Martin.
Victory has seen Pulling break over the 200-point mark, with the Rodin Motorsport driver firmly in the lead on 217 to Pin’s 135. She’ll have another chance to take home some silverware when she starts on pole once again for Sunday’s Race 2 at 15:35 local time.
