F1 LAUNCHES: When will teams be presenting their new cars for the 2025 season?

As the start of the 2025 F1 campaign gets ever closer, it’s that time of year where traditionally the teams get ready to unveil their new cars. We’re talking about launch season, which will look a little different this year as a very special event joins the schedule…
What is the 2025 F1 season launch event?
To mark the sport’s 75th anniversary, for the first time ever Formula 1 will host a season launch event at London’s The O2, where all 10 teams – along with their 20 drivers and respective team principals – will gather to unveil their liveries for the year ahead.

The spectacular evening will also feature interviews with key figures from the sport as well as top entertainment and special guest presenters. Bringing the event to life will be BrianBurkeCreative, who delivered the opening and closing ceremonies for the inaugural Las Vegas Grand Prix, Stufish Entertainment Architechs, DX7 Design and production company 1826.

When is the 2025 F1 season launch?
The two-hour launch event will take place on February 18, kicking off at 2000 GMT. Fans unable to be there in person – high demand saw tickets for the show rapidly sell out – will still get to be a part of the action as the launch will be broadcast live, with further details on this set to be revealed in due course.

When are the 2025 F1 car launches?
As well as revealing their liveries at the season launch, some teams will still be holding their own events. The first to confirm their launch date was Ferrari, with Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton’s new challenger due to break cover at Maranello on February 19, one day after the season launch.
Williams, meanwhile, will unveil their 2025 car on February 14 as part of a special promotional event at Silverstone. The FW47 is set to be revealed in a bespoke one-off livery, with the race livery being showcased at the season launch event.
Elsewhere Haas’ 2025 challenger will hit the track for the first time when the American squad complete a filming day at Silverstone on February 16, though they will also save their livery reveal for the big night at The O2.
Aston Martin's 2025 car is set to break cover on February 23. The AMR25 will be launched across the team's digital channels before taking to the track one day later for a promotional event at the Bahrain International Circuit.
Mercedes have also confirmed their 2025 F1 car – the Mercedes-AMG F1 W16 E Performance – will be revealed to the world on February 24.
