F1 NATION: Will Verstappen hit another home run or can his rivals cause an upset as F1 returns? It’s our Dutch GP preview

After almost one month of relaxation for drivers, teams and paddock personnel, the sport will burst back into life this weekend with the Dutch Grand Prix at Zandvoort.
That means it’s time for another episode of the F1 Nation podcast, with host Tom Clarkson joined by De Telegraaf journalist Erik van Haren to discuss all the talking points as the 2024 season resumes.
IT’S ALL TO DRIVE FOR: Get ready for a heart-pumping final half of the 2024 season
Max Verstappen sent the orange army wild by triumphing at his home event in 2021, 2022 and 2023, but can he end a win-less run stretching back to June’s Spanish Grand Prix and make it four victories in a row this time out?
Recent Grand Prix winners McLaren and Mercedes will be doing all they can to prevent that from happening by continuing their strong form, while Ferrari are aiming to get back to winning ways themselves after an up-and-down phase.
Alongside these performance predictions, Clarkson asks Van Haren if 2024 has been Verstappen’s best season in F1 to date, and whether his future in the sport might lie away from Red Bull Racing.
FORM GUIDE: Which teams and drivers are looking hot at the halfway mark of the season?
