F2: Lindblad takes hard-fought lights-to-flag victory in Abu Dhabi
Fresh from confirmation of his F1 promotion for 2026, Arvid Lindblad took the F2 Sprint Race victory in Abu Dhabi on Saturday.

Arvid Lindblad led this weekend’s Sprint Race in Abu Dhabi from start to finish, but the Campos Racing driver was made to work for his victory by Joshua Duerksen.
The 2026 Formula 1-bound driver was in strong form on Saturday evening, fending off his AIX Racing rival’s late-race charge to seal his third win of the season.
Duerksen’s second place finish means he has five podiums in the last four rounds, while Nikola Tsolov made it a Campos 1-3, taking his first Formula 2 podium in P3.
Hitech TGR driver Dino Beganovic charged from seventh on the grid to finish fourth, ahead of MP Motorsport’s Oliver Goethe in fifth.
Aston Martin Driver Development Programme member Jak Crawford continued his strong weekend, going from ninth to sixth.
ART Grand Prix Victor Martins finished seventh, while Rodin Motorsport’s Alexander Dunne took the final point of the race in P8.
Invicta Racing’s Roman Stanek, who finished 10th, will start Sunday’s Feature Race from pole, with Crawford joining him on the front and his team mate Leonardo Fornaroli in third.
That race gets under way at 1315 local time on Sunday, but until it takes place, you can read a full report of today’s FIA Formula 2 Sprint Race on the official championship website.
