GALLERY: Ferrari reveal Schumacher-inspired livery for home Grand Prix at Monza

Ferrari have presented a special one-off livery for their home race at Monza, paying tribute to seven-time World Champion Michael Schumacher.

It is now 30 years since the German joined the Scuderia, and 20 years since his final victory with the team – scored at the 2006 Chinese Grand Prix.

As well as claiming five of his world titles with the Maranello-based squad, Schumacher bagged five Monza wins in red (in 1996, 1998, 2000, 2003 and 2006).

Heading into the weekend, Ferrari revealed bespoke race suits that will be worn by current drivers Charles Leclerc and Lewis Hamilton, featuring Schumacher’s logo and the seven stars he used to carry on his helmet to signify his seven titles.

On Tuesday morning, the outfit followed up on those comments by showcasing a Schumacher-inspired car livery, again noting the details above around their usual 2026 design.

Ferrari explained that this week’s wide-ranging tributes are inspired by Schumacher’s “impact on the racing world” and “his enduring mindset”.
