GALLERY: Kick Sauber reveal striking livery for Las Vegas Grand Prix weekend

Kick Sauber have revealed a special flame-inspired livery for this weekend’s Las Vegas Grand Prix.

In collaboration with title sponsor Stake, the team say the design is a symbol of their “unwavering spirit” and “this team doesn’t give up until the very end, no matter what challenges are thrown in front of it”.

They add: “Just as flames flicker and blaze without ceasing, our fiery determination burns bright across every lap”.

Sauber are the only team yet to score so far in 2024 and lie bottom of the constructors’ championship with just three race weekends left.

“Stake has always helped us create some impressive one-off designs and this is no different,” said Team Representative Alessandro Alunni Bravi.

“Our special livery for Las Vegas is more than just a design – it’s a representation of our team’s ethos and of Stake’s philosophy.

“We push forward with relentless passion, just as this city does, and we’re excited to showcase our fiery spirit on one of the most thrilling stages in motorsport.”

Valtteri Bottas and Zhou Guanyu’s race suits will be adorned by flames with the theme also displayed across the team’s garage.

Ahead of the weekend, the team revealed they are not retaining either Bottas or Zhou for next season, with F2 championship leader Gabriel Bortoleto getting the seat alongside Nico Hulkenberg.

Bottas is pursuing a reserve role at Mercedes for 2025 while Zhou is evaluating his options, which include opportunities in Formula E. Both will be keen to get on the board before their time at the team comes to an end.

First practice for the Las Vegas Grand Prix gets under way on Thursday, November 22 at 1830 local time. Qualifying kicks off at 2200 on Friday, with the lights going out for the Grand Prix at 2200 on Saturday night.
