Haas show off new VF-23 ahead of Silverstone shakedown

Haas’s new F1 car, the VF-23, made its track debut during a shakedown session at the Silverstone Circuit on Saturday, following the team’s unveiling of the new machine – which gave fans a first glimpse of their 2023 design following a recent livery reveal.
Haas kicked off F1’s launch season at the end of January but the US-led squad opted only to share digital renders of a revised black, white and red colour scheme for the upcoming season.
Almost two weeks on, the VF-23 broke cover ahead of its on-track debut at British Grand Prix venue Silverstone – located around 15 miles away from Haas’s UK headquarters in Banbury – for a pre-season shakedown.
Once their initial track runs are complete, Haas will join the rest of the F1 field at the Bahrain International Circuit for pre-season testing from February 23-25, followed by the 2023 opener at the same Sakhir venue a week later.
