Max Verstappen dominated the United States Grand Prix as he took a lights-to-flag victory to significantly close the gap in the Drivers' Standings.
The four time World Champion was untouchable in Austin, as he led every lap in both the Sprint and Sunday's Grand Prix. Entering the weekend 63 points behind championship leader Oscar Piastri, this margin was slashed to 40 as the Australian could manage only fifth place.
With his victory, Verstappen became the first driver to win seven Grands Prix in the United States. It was his fourth in Austin.
Lando Norris was involved in a race-long battle with Charles Leclerc and, after dropping behind at the start, completed his move for second place on Lap 53. Lewis Hamilton was fourth, missing out on a first podium for Ferrari.
