Max Verstappen claimed victory in the Sao Paulo Sprint over the McLaren of Lando Norris, pipping the P1-starting Briton off the line before holding on for victory.
While Verstappen and Norris were in a class of two at Interlagos on Saturday afternoon – Norris ending up nearly 10 seconds up the road from third-placed Sergio Perez after just 24 laps – there was thrilling action up and down the field.

A key fight was over P9 to P13, with Oscar Piastri, Daniel Ricciardo, Fernando Alonso, Pierre Gasly and Lance Stroll all playing starring roles – while Yuki Tsunoda also put in an impressive drive, battling past Lewis Hamilton before finishing P6.
