The final practice hour before qualifying for the 2024 Hungarian Grand Prix, and it was Lando Norris who will head into that session with the advantage after leading FP3 at the Hungaroring.
In more overcast conditions than fans witnessed on a blistering hot Friday, Norris followed up his FP2-leading performance with another impressive outing, once again ending up over two-tenths clear of his nearest rival from another team – Red Bull’s Max Verstappen in P3, 0.281s adrift.
In between was the second McLaren of Oscar Piastri, who overcame his Friday issues to take second, just 0.044s away from Norris.
Meanwhile, Lewis Hamilton ended up down in P10, the eight-time Hungarian GP winner spinning wildly at Turn 9 in the final 10 minutes as he tried to eke one more lap out of his soft tyres.
