Lewis Hamilton had an uncharacteristically scruffy set of Friday practice sessions in Sochi, but whatever changes he made to his car overnight seemed to do the trick as he topped the time sheets in FP3 for the Russian Grand Prix on Saturday.
His Mercedes team mate Valtteri Bottas had been quickest in both FP1 and FP2, but the Finn had to settle for second in final practice, with Hamilton almost eight tenths of a second faster when the session finished.

Behind the Silver Arrows, Carlos Sainz was an impressive third quickest for McLaren, followed by Esteban Ocon, Sergio Perez and Max Verstappen, in what looks like a super-tight midfield battle in Sochi this weekend.
