Max Verstappen made it a practice clean sweep in Japan, as he again went fastest in FP3, posting a 1m 30.267s in the final 10 minutes of the session.
The Red Bull man looked to be in top form again, with qualifying later on today, but could face stern opposition from the McLarens, with Lando Norris second and Oscar Piastri third in final practice.

Verstappen’s Red Bull team mate Sergio Perez was fourth while Ferrari – fresh from their Singapore victory last weekend – occupied fifth and sixth in the order with Carlos Sainz and Charles Leclerc respectively.
There was plenty of traffic chaos through the practice session, with Yuki Tsunoda – earlier confirmed for AlphaTauri in 2024 – less than happy with Kevin Magnussen’s positioning on track as he barrelled along behind. The Dane subsequently raised his hand in apology to the home favourite.
