Kvyat, Button to take Austin grid penalties
Daniil Kvyat will drop ten places on the grid for the 2014 Formula 1 United States Grand Prix after Toro Rosso were forced to fit the Russian's car with a seventh internal combustion engine of the season in Austin.
Jenson Button meanwhile will drop five places after an unscheduled gearbox change on his McLaren MP4-29, a transgression of Formula One regulations that require gearboxes to last six consecutive events.
Sebastian Vettel, meanwhile, will start Sunday's race from the pit lane, after Red Bull fitted his RB10 with an entirely new power unit - his sixth of the year. Drivers are only allowed to use five of each element before incurring a penalty.
