PADDOCK INSIDER: Norris’ Monaco win breathed new life into the title fight – can he back that up in Spain?

Lando Norris breathed new life into the Drivers’ Championship fight with a crushing victory in the Monaco Grand Prix that sees him arrive in Barcelona just three points adrift of McLaren team mate Oscar Piastri. But it’s no wonder he’s not getting carried away after a complicated start to his 2025 campaign.
The Briton, oozing confidence in his ability after a strong end to the 2024 season that yielded an outstanding win in the season-closer in Abu Dhabi, which confirmed McLaren’s first Teams’ Championship for more than two decades, kicked off his year in style with a triumph in a soaking Australian Grand Prix as Piastri made a small error that cost him second place.
