Despite switching away from their ‘Macarena’ style wing, Red Bull still secured their third podium of the season in Belgium, on a weekend which spoke volumes about the progress they’ve made this season.

After a couple of high speed incidents for Max Verstappen – not least at Silverstone last time out – it was clear that Red Bull would have to revert back to their original rear wing for Belgium, in what I thought would be a very costly setback on a circuit that is all about aero efficiency and top speed.
