TECH WEEKLY: Why there should be more to come from Ferrari’s major Miami upgrade package
Mark Hughes and Giorgio Piola assess the updates Ferrari brought to Miami, and the reasons for optimism at the team heading to Canada.

Ferrari’s Miami upgrade was at least as big as those of Red Bull and McLaren, and although it gained the car performance, the Sprint format combined with the extremely hot tarmac meant that the competitive picture was a little unclear.
Charles Leclerc was pushing Oscar Piastri’s McLaren hard for second place in the Sprint, and he led the early stages of the Grand Prix before overheating tyres saw him fall back from the lead fight with Kimi Antonelli’s Mercedes and Lando Norris’ McLaren. We should get a clearer picture in Montreal this coming weekend.
