Toro Rosso to roll out new car on eve of Jerez test
Toro Rosso will present their 2014 car, the Renault-powered STR9, in Jerez on the day before pre-season testing begins at the Spanish circuit.
The car will be unveiled in the pit lane at 1730 CET on January 27, before being given its first run by Jean-Eric Vergne the following day.
Vergne’s new team mate, Russian rookie Daniil Kvyat, is expected to take his turn behind the wheel later in the test.
Toro Rosso look set to be the fourth team to reveal their 2014 car. McLaren will launch theirs next Friday, 24 hours ahead of Ferrari, with Sauber following suit on the Sunday. Red Bull, Mercedes and Caterham, meanwhile, will all roll out their 2014 machines on January 28.
