WATCH: Big Schumacher crash leads to red flag in Saudi Arabia
Lap 10 of the inaugural Saudi Arabian Grand Prix saw Haas driver Mick Schumacher crash heavily into the wall at Turn 23, causing extensive damage to his VF-21.
In a crash similar to Charles Leclerc’s Free Practice 2 shunt on Friday evening, Schumacher lost the back end of his Haas going through Turn 22, before slewing heavily into the Turn 23 barriers – with Schumacher apologising to his team for the error before climbing out of the car unaided.
