WATCH: Colapinto slams into the wall to bring out the red flags during the Sao Paulo Grand Prix
Franco Colapinto's Sao Paulo Grand Prix came to an early end as he crashed into the wall amid poor weather conditions, rounding off a nightmarish weekend for Williams in Brazil.
Heading along the pit straight, the Argentine lost grip on the slippery track whilst trying to catch up to the Safety Car train – in trying to regain control, he over-corrected and slammed sideways into the barrier.

With debris scattered across the circuit, the red flags were waved to halt the race, and the 21-year-old was thankfully uninjured.
The incident saw the Grove outfit's weekend go from bad to worse after both Colapinto and Alex Albon crashed out in qualifying, with the latter unable to take part in the Grand Prix due to the extensive damage on his car.
Colapinto's mechanics, on the other hand, made the necessary repairs in time, but Williams will leave the weekend with zero points.
