WATCH: Drama for Red Bull and another title for Mercedes – Relive last year’s Emilia Romagna GP
Last year the Formula 1 circus returned to the historic Imola track for the first time since 2006, as the sport was forced to come up with an innovative new calendar in the midst of the Covid-19 pandemic.
The result was an entertaining race at the iconic Italian circuit as Mercedes sealed their seventh consecutive constructors' title thanks to a 1-2 finish, with Lewis Hamilton leading home Valtteri Bottas.
But it wasn't as straightforward as it sounds for the Silver Arrows, as Red Bull's Max Verstappen had swept past Bottas only to suffer a dramatic tyre failure that pitched him into the gravel trap and out of the race.
Hit play on the video above to see the highlights from that race, before F1 returns to Imola for this weekend's Emilia Romagna Grand Prix.
