Charles Leclerc has put himself in prime position to claim a long-awaited home victory after taking pole position for the Monaco Grand Prix.
Having set the pace during second and third practice, the Monegasque continued his run of form by storming to P1 on the grid in Saturday’s qualifying.

Leclerc claimed provisional pole in the initial Q3 runs before bettering his effort during the final flying laps with a time of 1m 10.270s.
