The 2022 season saw huge changes in F1 as all-new regulations were brought in to help spice up the show. Ferrari made the early running with Charles Leclerc winning two of the first three Grands Prix to build up a 46-point lead over Max Verstappen in the championship.

But Red Bull soon hit back and Verstappen found his form to notch win after win, as he raced his way to a second consecutive world championship title in dominant style.

Along the way there were tons of epic battles, a brand new race in Miami, a shock new pole-sitter, and a new Grand Prix winners – as well as plenty of off-track action, including a busy summer on the driver merry-go-round after Sebastian Vettel's retirement kickstarted a host of moves up and down the grid.
