WATCH: Ride onboard for Leclerc’s breathtaking pole lap in Baku qualifying
Charles Leclerc claimed a nail-biting pole position in qualifying for the Azerbaijan Grand Prix ahead of the lead McLaren of Oscar Piastri and fellow Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz.
Despite four teams looking quick enough for P1, the Monegasque put together a flawless lap around Baku, narrowly avoiding the walls to set a time of 1m 41.365s and claim his fourth consecutive pole in Baku.

After a fairytale victory last time out in Monza, Leclerc continued his spectacular run of form whilst championship contender Lando Norris took an unexpected exit in the first part of qualifying, leaving him down in P17.
