The colourful curves of Circuit Paul Ricard return this weekend as the French Grand Prix graces the calendar after a year away – and the drivers are raring to go for Round 7 of the Championship, including home heroes Pierre Gasly and Esteban Ocon.

Ocon himself was a focal point on Thursday as Alpine announced the day before that he had signed a multi-year deal with the team, keeping him there at least until the end of 2024.
