With temperatures reading 36 degrees Celsius, the 2022 Spanish Grand Prix got under way – with Ferrari's Charles Leclerc holding off the Red Bull of title rival Max Verstappen from pole position.
Behind, though, it was all kicking off, with Kevin Magnussen attempting a move around the outside of Lewis Hamilton – the Haas and the Mercedes coming together, as Magnussen skated off into the gravel, with Hamilton dropping down the field, before both drivers pitted before carrying on.
